The ECQ Basketball Court is a vibrant new community space located within ECQ Social, designed for casual games, friendly competition, and active play.
Whether you're dropping in for a quick shoot-around, challenging friends to a half-court game, or taking a break while visiting the centre, the court is open for everyone to enjoy during ECQ Outlet trading hours.
The court has been designed to encourage movement, connection, and community within the precinct, creating a place where visitors of all ages can get active while spending time at ECQ Outlet.
Bring Your Ball – or Borrow One
Customers are welcome to bring their own basketball or borrow one from the Concierge Desk, subject to availability.
To help us keep the court running smoothly, we kindly ask that all borrowed basketballs are returned to Concierge once you’ve finished your game.
When borrowing a basketball, you’ll be asked to present a valid ID and provide your contact details at Concierge. This helps us ensure all equipment is returned and remains available for everyone to enjoy.
Court Opening Hours
The basketball court is open to the public during ECQ Outlet trading hours for casual play and friendly games.
Visitors are welcome to use the court during these times unless a scheduled activation or organised session is taking place.
During activations, the court will remain open for spectators and participants, however free play will resume once the scheduled session has concluded.
This page will be regularly updated with upcoming basketball events, competitions and community activities.
Upcoming Basketball Activations
We’re kicking things off with two exciting basketball sessions delivered by City of Blacktown Basketball Association.
These sessions are designed to help young players test their skills, compete in challenges and have fun on the court.

Join us for an afternoon of exciting games and activities that will introduce your child to basketball. Learn the basics of shooting and dribbling through fun drills with qualified coaches. Games will include:
