Eastern Creek Quarter (ECQ) is home to ECQ Shopping Centre, ECQ XL, ECQ Social and the new ECQ Outlet opening in March 2026. The precinct is easy to reach whether you're travelling by car, train, bus, taxi, bike or on foot.

By car

To enter and exit the car park, use Cable Place via Rooty Hill Road South. Conveniently located with easy access from the M7, M4, and Great Western Highway.

By train

Rooty Hill Station is just 1.3km from Eastern Creek Quarter which is a 19-minute walk or 4-minute cycle.

The station is on the T1 North Shore & Western Line, with direct connections from the city and Emu Plains.

By bus

Multiple bus services stop within a 5-minute (400m) walk of the centre:

  • Route 723: Mount Druitt to Blacktown via Eastern Creek
  • Route 728: Mount Druitt to Blacktown
  • Route 738: Mount Druitt to Eastern Creek via Rooty Hill (Loop Service)
By taxi/rideshare

Taxi and rideshare drop-off areas are available at Eastern Creek Quarter.

A dedicated taxi rank will be introduced within the new ECQ Outlet precinct when it opens in March 2026.

By bike

If you wish to travel to Eastern Creek Quarter on your bicycle, there are ample bike racks for you to store your bike whilst visiting in centre.

There are convenient links to the M7 Cycleway via local streets and direct cycleway connections will be enhanced as part of the ECQ Outlet expansion.

On foot

There is a 2.5m-wide shared path along Church Street and Rooty Hill Road South, with safe pedestrian crossings.

The maximum clearance height for vehicles in the ECQ shaded parking area is 2.3 meters.
The new system is being introduced to help improve traffic flow, reduce misuse of car spaces, and make it easier for customers to find parking during busy times.
The system is expected to be operational by March 2026. Parking will remain free during this period, and we’ll provide plenty of advance notice before paid parking begins.
Your number plate will be your pass. Cameras will automatically scan your vehicle upon entry and exit, so there’s no need for paper tickets or boom gates upon entry.
Parking will remain free for all visitors while installation is underway. Once paid parking begins in March 2026, 3 hours free parking will be available for all customers. Parking after 6:00 pm will also be free if you exit before midnight.
You will be able to check your parking duration by entering your license plate number at any digital pay machines located within the centre.
There will be two easy ways to pay:
  • At a digital pay machine by entering your licence plate number
  • Using tap-and-go (payWave) at the exit gate
Digital pay station locations will be confirmed closer to launch.
Your licence plate is your ticket, so it’s important to remember it. We recommend taking a photo of it with your phone before entering the centre.
Yes. To receive discounted parking with a mobility permit, please visit our Centre Management office during our operating hours and provide your full name, vehicle registration number, and disability card number.

We provide 4 EV charging bays at Eastern Creek Quarter and an additional 4 at ECQ XL, ensuring convenient charging across both car parks.
Yes, we offer extra-wide parking spaces designed for visitors with young children in prams. These spaces are conveniently located near Hanmade's Bakehouse and Australia Post services for easy access.
The system is secure, and all data is handled in accordance with the Point Parking Privacy Policy. Point Parking is responsible for handling all customer data related to your payments and licence plate data
ECQ has partnered with Point Parking to manage the new ticketless parking system. Point Parking will be responsible for handling parking payments, license plate data, and all related customer support.
Yes, discounted staff parking rates are available. Store managers should email admin@easterncreekquarter.shopping with the staff member's full name and vehicle registration number.
